Offshore Management & Project Support
Practical management, technical oversight and client representation for offshore, marine and specialist engineering projects.
Terra Mechanica Maris provides experienced personnel who can integrate directly with client and contractor teams, supporting projects from planning and mobilisation through offshore execution and final close-out.
Our approach combines technical understanding with clear communication, practical decision-making and direct involvement in the work.
Client Representation
Independent technical representation helps ensure that the client's requirements remain at the centre of offshore operations.

Image Description:
Garry McGowan, pictured on the right, on the successful completion of the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Expedition 364, which focused on drilling the Chicxulub impact crater off the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. This scientific expedition, conducted in 2016, was a landmark project aimed at understanding the asteroid impact that contributed to the mass extinction of the dinosaurs.
The photo was taken just before demobilisation, after all equipment was secured and the site made safe. As a light hearted conclusion to the expedition, a “Backstreet Boys”-style group photo was taken with the client and drill crew from DOSECC Exploration Services LLC, celebrating the team’s collaboration and the successful achievement of the scientific goals.

Garry McGowan pictured acting as a client representative for the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) project in the Gulf of Corinth, managed by the European Consortium for Ocean Research Drilling (ECORD). This role involved overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with project objectives, and acting as a liaison between the scientific team and operational crews. The Gulf of Corinth expedition focused on understanding active faulting and tectonic processes in one of the world’s most geologically dynamic regions.
